Safety switches
A safety switch that trips is doing its job. One that was never fitted is a gap we can close.
NSW homes should have residual current devices on the circuits people actually touch. Plenty of older Sydney boards still do not. A switch that will not reset is a fault on the circuit, not a reason to hold the button in.
We test existing RCDs, add protection where the board can take it, and find the appliance or cable that is taking a good switch out. If the board itself cannot host the devices, that becomes a switchboard conversation.
