A tired Sydney switchboard is how a small fault becomes a house fire. We assess, then upgrade when the board is actually finished.
A lot of Greater Sydney housing still has ceramic fuses, Bakelite surrounds or early circuit-breaker boards with no spare ways and no safety switches. That stock turns up from Penrith fibro through Inner West terrace to older North Shore family homes.
We inspect the board, tell you what is compliant and what is not, and only recommend a replacement when the existing one cannot do the job safely. A new board is labelled, RCD-protected where it should be, and left with space for the circuit you will want next year.
